Notes

  • (Research):Email from Myra Amely - 5/6/2005. I remember my mother telling me that when she was a little girl she used to visit an uncle in London who had a brush factory. 'this must have been your Samuel. Before she died (at almost 102) she wrote a little about her aunts and uncles. I'll look it out and see if she mentions him there. I found your website very interesting. I should be most interested to receive copies of the newspaper cutting and the Thrapston Church Register. My E Mail address is myramelyyahoo.co.uk Thanks once again. Yours Myra.

Email from Myra Amely - 26/7/2005e very interesting. Sorry about the delay in replying but I have been trying to locate my mother`s notes, to no avail . I am on holiday for a month but when I return I will resume my search. I know she mentions that the twins Isaac and Jacob March sailed to America and were becalmed and nearly didn`t make it. She had a newspaper cutting detailing this from a local paper. Presumabley the Thrapston Journal. Regards Myra.
